What has happened to the generation now days, you can just walk outside your door and see at least three people talking on the phone, texting, or listening to their ipod. You hardly ever see youth talking to other or even doing something physical. Sometimes people text someone who are in the same room as you instead of just walking over to the person and talking to them. We are loosing important life skills by using technology all the time. Don't get me wrong I love the technology now days, and the phones are awesome you practically have a mini computer in the palms of your hand. But with having awesome things also comes consequences.
The simple communication skills are lost, if you were to put teenagers, who love technology into a room then cut them off from technology. Would they be able to know how to communicate with each other? I don't think they would be able to talk about anything except facebook, or twitter. Communication is a huge part of life, if you want to get a job you have to know how to present yourself as well as how to communicate. Communication is also the keystone of our society today because using technology through communication it can result in a miscommunication. The best way to communicate is face to face instead of using technology.
I completely agree! Our generation has been corrupted :( it's a bummer, but things change... I honestly feel as if technology has changed, yet the people in our generation haven't... we still have mutual likes and dislikes, we still fight over similar things, but the overall principles remained the same... I really enjoyed reading your opinion! And I definitely agree :)

I agree, i feel like in today's world technology is everything, and everyone is constantly using some kind of technology. I also agree that the best communication is face to face because things can get misinterpreted when using technology.
ReplyDeleteOMGOSH..so i totally agree with every word you said. TECHNOLOGY is TAKING OVER THE WORLD. it's sad actually, when you really think about it. i would much prefer face to face communication anyways. having everything on your phone or ipod, or something electronic, how is that gonna help you physically. i mean with the xbox and everything, kids, even adults just sit there for hours glued to the tv. great post.. you said it all:)
