Macbeth was definitely the darkest Shakespearean play that I have read. But I really enjoyed it, the witches to me were the best part. I liked how it was a combination of mythical and real creatures in the play. Throughout the play you couldn’t tell if it was Macbeth mind that was messing with him or if it was the witches that were. It was hard to understand at some points especially at the beginning when they were talking about how heroic Macbeth was. But once you got through the first act it was easier to comprehend. I personally think Macbeth is just stupid he couldn’t wait to be king so he had to kill the king which lead him to having to kill more people. But overall I have enjoyed readying Macbeth.

Shakespearean Experiences
I have really enjoyed reading Shakespeare’s plays. If I had to rate Shakespearean plays that I have read in high school and intermediate it would probably be twelfth night, Othello, Macbeth, romeo and Juliet, merchant of Venice, and midsummer night dream. When we first started reading Shakespearean works in seventh grade I thought he was some messed up guy. That year we did a midsummer’s night dream and that was weird. But as the years went on I started to like his works a lot more. My favorite Shakespearean play that I've have read was twelfth night. I enjoyed it mostly because there was a unexpected twist in the story plus it was the first Shakespeare that I have read were no one died and it was actually a happy ending.
